A reminder to myself to stop spending money.
My birthday may or may not be approaching. I may or may not be becoming a year older. I keep getting asked what I want for my birthday by my husband... Except I don't know what I want. I have nothing in mind.
I kind of have everything already and I don't want to spend money for no good reason. I mean I love buying things. I love having new trinkets and whatnot... I love eating takeout!
Who doesn't? You can't deny that it's not fun to do or partake in.
But do you NEED to buy things all the time? No. I can make coffee at home, or lunch, or prep some nice sandwiches for when we go out or have fun at the park. Or even dinner. Simple quick meals exist.
I would love a new sketch book... I love the feel of them. But I have two that are half empty...I should actually try using the ones I own.
I keep looking for toys to buy my kids, but they have it all.
Why spend more money? Why buy something that they'll fight over and then ultimately forget about, something to throw into one of the three bins full of toys that they have.
