I wish I enjoyed college
I wish I could say that I enjoyed college and the college experience.
But my experience sucked. I went to one of the largest schools in the country...
I think the third largest? I had a miserable experience partly because my second year in college got abruptly shut down by the COVID craze, and suddenly we were booted into online only school. After that it was never the same. Just so many restrictions for no reason ... So little to experience when you're stuck at home doing classwork on your laptop.
On top of that. I just felt...So so out of place when I actually did go to school.
I was never one to make many friends...but I made none during college. It just didn't seem possible. Honestly. Most people weren't the type to be friends with me. I needed a specific friend prototype and it wasn't being met. Not that it matters. Maybe friendship isn't that important.
To be honest. I hated primary school, too. I was coerced by my school counselor and my family into going into college. I could care less about the degree that I somehow managed to earn, and I just feel and felt like college is pointless for most people. And I think it makes sense if... You're in STEM or something. But for me? It was probably pointless.
I know hate is a strong word. But I really did (strongly dislike) my entire educational experience from 5 to 25.
