next tier of boomers: CNN boomers

I think this is most boomers. Why are boomers so obsessed with cable news? CNN, MSNBC, etc. ? You get the occasional FOX news one. But it's mostly CNN or MSNBC Boomers. At least the FOX news boomers aren't losing their minds over everything.

Absolutely bonkers to me. The best part is telling them that you don't watch the news. Or TV at all.

The question is always the same. "How do you know what's happening? What about the weather?"

I have the same answer each time.

"I can check the weather on my phone or online...Plus the news is not necessary"

And to be honest it's not necessary at all. I still live a fairly normal life. I still wake up and have coffee every morning. I still do adult things... But I don't have TDS.

And I don't follow politics like it's a sport. Im not being constantly fear mongered by anyone because I don't believe in anything anyone says and TO BE HONEST.

I hate being fear mongered. But to me it seems like the CNN boomers love the feeling. It must be an adrenaline rush to them. They want to spread it like a virus to everyone around them..

It's doing me good to just mind my business.

I may align with most of the right in traditional values...But I'm not going to mention it to boomers. That's another thing.

CNN TV boomers are some of the most libtarded people around.

They're constantly seething at the thought of someone not hating on the right. Gen xers are kind of guilty of this too.

It's actually insane the brainwashing that they must have received their entire life.

The generation with the MOST years in brainwashing by their TV. It's not just the news. It's the TV shows. The Sitcoms. The commercials. We are like these little guinea pigs just memorizing scripts... At this point boomers act like the script they watched the most on TV.

Which tends to be the Big Bang Theory...or Star Trek. They just kind of stalk around and talk in one liners in a very robotic manner. Like they're waiting their turn.

CNN boomers will hear something on TV and happily follow it blindly. No questions asked.

The worst part is that you can't mention anything outside of their scope of understanding.

General rule is: don't mention non normie things to normies.

And this of course applies to CNN boomers. It's like activating agent Smiths when you do. You are now the enemy in their eyes.

And look I'm not some sort of enlightened individual here. I'm just a normal gal typing on her cute little pink laptop that runs on Linux.

I still have a hard time though with staying quiet. I just...have a hard time not mentioning anything if I disagree. To be honest I get a slight kick out of making people uncomfortable. Because growing up... I was the one that was uncomfortable. So now everyone must suffer.

Well. Anyway. I may not watch the news or be up to date on anything. But I'm not a moron.

I can deduce what the expected feeling you should get out of headlines is. I don't have to be on top of it to understand what's really going on.

And I think that's why CNN boomers are the worst. They will run up to you, frothing at the mouth and tell you excitedly about the news. Good or bad. Mostly bad. And if you don't react in the way that they expect...Well good luck. You probably just activated an agent Smith.
