On email Pen Pals and bearblog
I have a couple of people that I communicate with through email.
I won't list who they are obviously for their own privacy, but we talk about lots of topics that I normally wouldn't talk to anyone else about. It's quite nice, and I appreciate them for taking the time to email me back.
I met (virtually) these people on bear. Sometimes I get thank you emails from strangers I usually don't talk to as well, and I send my own out too. An email is a powerful tool, it is as a reminder that maybe, we're not so isolated after all.
I obviously have my complaints about Bear that I've highlighted before, but I will say, thank you to this blogging platform for allowing me to communicate with others freely.
In my current season of life, and in most people's now because of how the world is, consistent, physical friendship is not feasible.
So, take the opportunity and email others, I guarantee that you'll have fun in the process.
