stop the fear mongering
Stop it. Stop saying that we're doomed. That AI is taking all of our jobs. That we cant do anything about the mass surveillance wave.
People claim you shouldn't invest in your own future. Then they fear monger you about the future. They'll tell you it's only going to get worse. But if you think about it. It'll be real bad if you fall for what they're selling you.
Guess what. You'll be 60 soon. With nothing in hand if you fall for it.
People will tell you there is no need to invest because "well the future is fucked anyway" and so you see countless young people RUINING their own prospects because other people are!! It's like crabs in a bucket. Bringing each other down.
Don't spend all of your money like other people. Invest! Save! Build your future! Think about your future! Don't get a brand new car or phone just because you can. Do it because you can afford it and more.
I'm not telling you to go out and get rich. I'm telling you to go out and get stable. And stable...is not about how much money you have. It's about what you can do with the amount of money you do have. If your car breaks down tomorrow... Do you have enough to take it to a mechanic? Do you have enough to survive your life's rainy days?
You most likely have enough stuff in your vicinity. This is the country of excess. Excess food. Excess electronics and furniture. Life is lived in excess. We have AC and running water. So yes, it sucks being poor.
But you're not really poor. True poverty is a trench. With no safe food. No safe water. Etc.
You're uneducated on how to survive in your own pond. And it's sink or swim. And many of us are sinking because we choose to be uneducated.
Don't fall for the fear mongering. Do yourself a favor and live a good life and build with the tools that you have.
